Former Chelsea and Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Andreas Christensen is reportedly on the market, according to reports emerging from Spain.

The 28-year-old Danish international, who joined Barcelona in 2022 after Chelsea’s transfer freeze prevented contract renewals, could be sold as the club seeks to improve its financial situation.
Andreas Christensen, who came through Chelsea’s academy and broke into the first team in 2017 after a loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, made the move to Barcelona on a free transfer.

Since then, Andreas Christensen has made 75 appearances for the Barcelona.
However, new head coach Hansi Flick is reportedly not fully convinced by Christensen, choosing not to start him in the season opener against Valencia, citing concerns over his condition.
Barcelona, facing financial difficulties, could benefit from selling Christensen, who arrived at the club for free.
Sporting director Deco is reportedly focused on registering several key players, making the potential sale of Christensen a priority for the club.
