Ferdinand Waititu is a Kenyan politician who held the position of Nairobi Deputy Mayor before serving as assistant minister of water and irrigation during retired President Mwai Kibaki’s regime.

He was the recent past governor of Kiambu County. He lost his seat after an impeachment as a result of large corruption allegations against him.
Ferdinand Waititu was born on 1 January 1962 in Kibera, a suburb of Nairobi.

Ferdinand Waititu attended Dagoretti High School where he acquired his Kenya Certificate of Education before proceeding to the Technical University of Kenya which was formerly referred to as the Kenya Polytechnic.
He also possesses a degree in commerce from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce in Punjab, India.
Ferdinand is married to Susan Ndung’u with whom he reportedly has three children. His daughter Josephine Ndung’u’s wedding was one of the most talked-about in Kenya.
