Juan Williams was born on April 10, 1954, to Rogelio and Alma Geraldine Williams in Colon, Panama. Together with the family, they moved to Brooklyn, New York, when he was only 4. He attended elementary and school in New York City.
Williams Juan won a scholarship to attend the Oakwood Friends School in Poughkeepsie, New York, a Quaker school. He continued to the Haverford College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in philosophy.
