Pappy Kojo whose real name is Jason Gaisie was born on 13 February 1989 to Kofi Badu and Rosemond Gaisie in Takoradi, Ghana. The Western Region bred musician had his basic education at Ridge International School till 2004 when moved from Ghana to Italy to live with his mother.

Pappy Kojo Career

Pappy Kojo developed an interest in music ever since he was a young boy. He used to participate in locally organized rap shows where he would rap to Obrafour, Tic Tac, Reggie Rockstone among others.

His career actually began during the latter part of 2014 when he featured on a hit single with popular Ghanaian superstar Joey B. However, he solidified his name in the entertainment industry after he released his first official single “Realer No”, also featuring Joey B.

He has since earned his spot among Ghana’s rap stars. In 2015, he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the AFRIMMA Awards and won an award for the Hip-Hop Song of the year after being nominated three times at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
