Michael Milosh, commonly known as Mike Milosh, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and the creative force behind the pop group Rhye.
Born in 1976 in Toronto, Milosh began his musical journey at a young age, starting with classical cello at age three before expanding his skills to drumming. He later studied jazz and vocals at university, which further honed his musical abilities.
Milosh gained significant attention in the early 2000s when the LA-based record label Plug Research released two of his solo albums, You Make Me Feel (2004) and Meme (2006).
His breakthrough came in 2010 when he formed Rhye with Robin Hannibal.
How Did Mike Milosh and Alexa Nikolas Meet?
Alexa Nikolas and Mike Milosh met in the early 2010s and maintained a long-distance relationship until Milosh proposed in 2011.

At the time of their marriage in 2012, Nikolas was just 19 years old. The couple’s relationship had a significant influence on Milosh’s music, with several songs from Rhye, particularly on the album Woman being inspired by his relationship with Nikolas.
Despite their close connection, Nikolas and Milosh’s marriage ended in 2016. According to court documents reported by Pitchfork, their divorce was finalized in 2019.
After their divorce, Alexa sued Milosh in 2021 for sexual abuse, assault, and grooming.
However, she dropped the lawsuit in May 2022. Following this, Milosh countersued Nikolas for $10 million in defamation, claiming her accusations were unfounded and emerged after he stopped paying spousal support.
In February 2023, Milosh’s countersuit was dismissed during a court hearing, effectively ending the legal battle between the former couple.
